Forge of Asgard
The Forge of Asgard allows Asgardians to lock their VOLT tokens. Asgardians who lock their VOLT in the Forge will acquire AMP, the governance token, and will be able to receive the profit reflections of the protocol in addition to accruing FVOR .
Locking VOLT in the Forge of Asgard is a passive, long-term strategy. This is the primary way participating in the protocol.
When Asgardians remove any portion of their forged tokens, they burn AMP tokens and receive a monetarily equivalent amount of VOLT tokens in return.
Mimir's Knowledge (Example of Forging)
You have acquired VOLT and place it in Asgard's Forge. You will be given AMP in a 1:1 basis for VOLT. Upon withdrawal, you will be given VOLT token based on the amount of AMP you hold.

How-To

There are a few steps to follow to lock VOLT in the Forge of Asgard and accumulate FVOR:
  1. 1.
    Swap MIM for VOLT on Trader Joe.
  2. 2.
    Enter Asgard.
  3. 3.
    Go to 'Forge' in the side-menu. You will be redirected to the page where you can forge VOLT.
  4. 4.
    Approve the Asgard to stake your VOLT.
  5. 5.
    Input the amount of VOLT tokens you want to place in the Forge and select "Forge VOLT".
  6. 6.
    Your VOLT tokens will be swapped into AMP.
  7. 7.
    You are now AMPed up.
